What MCP can't do (yet)

What your AI assistant can't do in ContentForge over MCP — Create with Zeus and other Zeus building, Business Profile actions, Google Ads changes, support tickets, languages and more — and where to do them instead.

Updated October 15, 2026

Your AI assistant does a lot in ContentForge, but not everything. Here's what it can't do, and where to do it instead. Some of these are planned; others will stay in ContentForge only.

Zeus building and writing (never through MCP)

Your AI assistant does the thinking and writing itself, so Zeus doesn't build or write anything through MCP. It can't:

  • Create with Zeus: Zeus designing and writing a whole site. Your assistant can only start a blank site. Use Create with Zeus in ContentForge.
  • Ask Zeus to redo or restyle a section, rebuild a page, build a page, plan a build or rewrite a section's words.
  • Make new Zeus images.
  • Have Zeus write blog posts, social posts or press releases. Your assistant saves its own copy instead.

If your assistant tries one of these, it's told to use the Mount Olympus editor's Zeus chat instead (agency only). What it can do is make the changes itself with the editing tools, which are free.

It can still Summon Zeus (a Zeus scan), run a Zeus Ads Review and the GBP Optimizer. Those cost credits and ask first.

Google Business Profile actions (not yet)

It can't post to a Business Profile, reply to reviews, read reviews, change the profile or add photos. It can:

  • run the GBP Optimizer (Zeus reviews the profile and says what to improve);
  • save a Google Business Profile post as a draft in the client's Content → Social, for you to post.

Do the rest on the client's Business Profile pages in ContentForge.

Google Ads changes (not yet)

It can run a Zeus Ads Review and give you the findings. It can't apply them, change campaigns, budgets or keywords, or build a campaign. Do those on the client's Google Ads tab.

Support tickets (not yet)

It can't open, read or reply to support tickets. Use Getting help and support.

Languages (not yet)

It edits a site's main language only. It can't add a language, translate pages or change a translation. When it publishes a site with other languages that aren't fully translated, it tells you which ones. Manage languages in the editor. See Multi-language sites.

Other things to do in ContentForge

  • Delete clients, sites, blog posts or collection items. (It can delete a page, after asking you.)
  • Make collections or fields. It can add and change items in existing collections.
  • Business Info and Business Text. It can't edit them. It can change words on the pages themselves.
  • HTML embeds, custom code, custom CSS and Dev Mode. Use the Widget Builder for custom widgets.
  • Videos. It can use videos already in the media library, but can't upload new ones.
  • Unpublish a site, connect a domain, set redirects or restore a backup.
  • Send things for client approval or answer approvals.
  • Read form responses or site comments.
  • Import a site, use templates, or work with older sites that are records only. It only sees Mount Olympus sites.
  • Content Generator and Image Generation, AI Visibility, prospects, team members, settings, billing and buying credits.

Client connections

A client person's connection can do even less: never Zeus, never anything that costs credits, and only what their permissions allow on their own sites. See MCP permissions explained.
