Click Zeus in the editor's top bar to open the chat ("Ask Zeus to change this page"). Tell him what to change in plain words, for example "Make the hero text shorter" or "Add a FAQ section near the bottom". He sees the page as it is right now, what you have selected, and the screen size you're editing.
What Zeus can do
- Text and widgets: rewrite text, and change any setting of any widget or box on any screen size. He can also add a widget by name or description.
- Structure: add, move, duplicate, wrap or remove sections and elements, change columns, put items side by side, and redo a section.
- Effects: entrance, hover and scroll animations. Ask for a cursor trail ("an ascii trail behind the hero", "ink trail", "swirl text background") and Zeus turns on the section's Cursor trail background. A page gets one trail, never on a page with a Media Vortex. Ask for a particle image with your photo and he adds one.
- Backgrounds: for a section or box, ask for a color, a gradient ("a dark blue to black gradient", at any angle, or radial), extra gradient layers over it ("a soft glow in the top corner"), a fixed picture size, a blend for the overlay, a pattern over a background video, one photo, a photo slideshow (your own photos: "a slideshow of our lawn photos behind the hero" — Zeus finds them in your media library, or uses the ones you name), a parallax photo, a video, a color overlay, glass (frosted), change color on scroll, a Media Vortex (8 or more of your own photos traveling behind the words) or the Cursor trail. A section gets one moving background: never a Media Vortex and a Cursor trail on the same page. Text over the new background is checked so it stays readable.
- Prices and offers: say "Update the pricing cards: Basic $99/mo with weekly mowing, edging; Pro $199/mo with …" and Zeus puts your plans into the Pricing Cards or Plan Comparison exactly as you wrote them. Your plans replace the template's. He never makes up or rounds a price, a plan or a feature; if something is missing, he asks. "Set the coupon to 15% off first service, expires Dec 31" works the same for a Coupon. Once your real prices or offer are in, the widget's template prices — check them mark goes away.
- The client's own details: whatever is in the client's Business extras (Client → Details: offer, price list, menu, OpenTable ID, Google Calendar, events, RSS feed) Zeus can read and copy in, word for word: "fill the menu from the client's menu", "use the client's price list", "put their offer on the coupon", "connect their calendar". If the client has nothing on file for it, Zeus says so. Zeus never writes testimonials or reviews himself: give him the real ones, or ask for the Google Reviews widget.
- Embed code: paste the code a provider gave you (a booking calendar, a form, a review widget, a map) and say where it goes: "Embed this below the hero: …". A card shows where it will go and the start of the code. Click Confirm and Zeus adds an HTML Embed with your code exactly as you pasted it. It runs in its own sealed frame, like any HTML Embed. Zeus never writes code himself.
- Blog and slider widgets: ask for a Media Slider of your photos, Recent Posts, Blog Search, the Blog Tag Filter, a Table of Contents or an RSS Feed. Zeus tells you when a spot doesn't suit one, for example a Table of Contents on a page with only one or two headings, or Blog Search on a page without the post list.
- Breadcrumbs: ask for "breadcrumbs", a "page trail" or "you are here links" and Zeus adds the Breadcrumbs widget, usually above the page heading.
- Header, footer and mobile menu.
- Card links: when Zeus adds or renames cards (stacking cards, a card carousel, glass cards), each card links to the page with the same name by itself. For example, a Roof Cleaning card opens your Roof Cleaning service page. His reply lists the links he set. You can also ask "make the second card link to the contact page", or give a web address, phone number or email. If there's no page with that name, he tells you which pages there are.
- Mega menus: ask "Design a mega menu for my services" and Zeus turns that menu item into a mega menu. He fills it from your real pages: each item in a collection with its own page (for example every service) or the pages under that menu item. Each card links to its page and shows an icon and a one-line description from the collection or the client's details. You can ask for fewer items, more or fewer columns, no descriptions, no icons, or no intro column, or ask him to remove it. Mega menus open when someone hovers over the item on desktop. Tablets and phones keep the normal mobile menu.
- Landing pages: ask "Make a new landing page for roof repair arcata" or "Improve this page as a landing page for roof repair arcata". Zeus uses the landing page template and only real facts from the client's details. To improve a page, he matches the hero to the search, adds a call button at the top if there isn't one, and adds the reviews, how-it-works, FAQ and call-to-action sections the page lacks. He keeps the page's design. You click Confirm first, and it counts as a page build. See How to write a landing page.
- Pages and menu: add, rename, duplicate or delete pages, set page SEO titles, descriptions and URLs, and show, hide, order or relabel menu items. Renaming a page changes its name in the Pages panel and the menu; its SEO title only changes when you ask for new SEO.
- Popups: create them and set when they open.
- Legal pages, cookies and accessibility: "add a privacy policy page" (or terms of service, or cookie policy) uses the legal pages generator: a free Confirm card first, then the page is created as a draft and opens. "Add a cookie settings link to the footer" adds the link to the footer's legal links. "Check accessibility" starts the free accessibility check and opens Settings → Accessibility, where it runs.
- Data: connect widgets to collections, or add a Dynamic Repeater.
- Theme: colors, fonts, button corners, the site's custom cursor ("give me a paw-print cursor", a dot, a ring, an icon or your own picture, and its size), the cursor effects ("turn off the cursor effects": the label over buttons, the trail, magnetic buttons) and the corner of the Pause motion button. He always asks before changing the theme, because it changes every page. The Confirm card lists exactly what changes.
- Images: attach photos or videos to the chat and they go into the site's media library for Zeus to use. He can also make a new image for any photo on the page: an image, a section or hero background, a gallery, slider or card photo, or a header or footer photo. Ask for one ("Make a new hero image") or for every photo on the page. Each new image costs 1 credit, and you click Confirm first. Zeus images never contain words, and a hero image is kept calm so your headline stays easy to read. If an image doesn't come back, nothing changes and the credit is returned. Just ask again.
Readable text: after every change, Zeus checks the sections he changed. If text sits on a photo, he makes sure it reads on any part of it. He darkens the photo or the panel behind the words and makes them light. If boxes with text end up on top of each other, he moves them apart. When he changes the header, footer or mobile menu, he checks its text against its background too, including links that show the theme's link color, and gives any text that became hard to read a color that reads. His reply tells you in one line when he did any of this.
If Zeus can't do something, he says what he tried and why it didn't work. He doesn't just say nothing changed.
Bigger jobs, like building a section from several widgets or building or redoing a page, show a plan card first. It lists the steps, the facts Zeus will use and the cost. Click Approve and build to watch it happen. Zeus uses only real facts. If he needs something he doesn't know, such as a price or an account ID, he asks.
Ask Zeus how to do something
Ask "How do I…", "Where do I…" or "How can I…" and Zeus shows you how instead of doing it. For example, ask "How do I add a form to my contact page?":
- Zeus answers in a few numbered steps from the help center, written for your site and page ("On your Contact page, click Add (+) > Business > Contact Form, then drag it under the heading").
- Buttons under his answer take you there: Open Add > Business > Contact Form opens the Add panel already searched for it, and others open Settings, CMS > Business Info, Theme, Pages, a section of SEO/AEO, another page, or select a widget on the page.
- Read the full guide opens the help article in a new tab.
- He ends with "Want me to do it for you?". Click Yes, do it for me (or type yes) and he does it, with the usual Confirm card where one is needed. If it's on another page, that page opens first. Nothing changes until you say yes.
Ask him to do it straight away ("Add a form to my contact page") and he does it, as always. Zeus only points to buttons and menus that are really in the editor. If the help center doesn't cover your question, he answers from what he knows of the editor and says so. His steps fit what you can do: if something needs an agency Owner or Admin, he says so.
Check these before you publish
After Fill with Zeus, the site opens here with Zeus's chat already open, listing everything that is still the template's: prices, a coupon's offer, menu dishes, events, a calendar, OpenTable or feed, testimonials, counter numbers, Before & After photos and logo strips.
- Click an item and Zeus takes you to it: he opens its page, scrolls to the widget and selects it.
- Each item says what to do next, for example "Tell me the real prices and I'll update them".
- Items tick themselves off once fixed. For counter numbers, Before & After and logos, click Mark as checked.
- Opening Zeus again shows what's still left. Back to the run summary returns to the Fill with Zeus finished screen.
If a page still shows the template's testimonials when you publish, a warning says "This page still shows the template's reviews". Choose Fix them with Zeus to open this list, or Publish anyway.
Long jobs: watch them land, stop them, pick them up later
Building from a plan, Rebuild this page and new images for every photo can take several minutes. Each part lands on the page the moment it's ready: each section of a rebuild, each new photo, each step of a build. The line under the chat shows what just landed.
- Stop: click Stop next to that line. Zeus finishes the step he's on, then stops. What he already changed stays on the page (Undo removes it), and the credits for anything he didn't make go back.
- Closed the tab or lost the connection? Zeus keeps working. Open the same page again and Zeus opens by himself, carries on and applies what's waiting.
- You can keep editing while he works. If you change a section Zeus is also changing, your version is kept. His reply says so, and Retry puts his version in if you want it.
- If a step keeps failing, Zeus stops and says plainly what happened. What he already made stays, and unused credits go back.
Undo and saving
One Zeus reply is one Undo step, even a long build that lands bit by bit. (After a reload, the parts Zeus applies from then on are one more Undo step.) His changes save like your own edits and are never published until you publish. Deleting a page can't be undone, so Zeus confirms it first.
Zeus while you edit another language
When you're editing one of the site's other languages (the language switcher in the top bar), Zeus works on that language's words only:
- Ask him to write or fix text, for example "Translate this section" or "Make the Spanish heading shorter". His words go into that language. The main-language page doesn't change. One reply is one Undo.
- Ask him to "translate the whole page" and he shows a card with the cost (1 credit for a regular page, popups and the 404 page are free). Click Translate and the page's words appear when he's done. Text someone already translated stays as it is.
- He can change the header and footer words in that language too.
- Layout, design, sections and images are shared with the main language. If you ask for those, he tells you to switch to the main language, or to unlink the section for that language first.
- Each message counts as one of your included Zeus messages. Once they're used for the month, type the words yourself or use Translate with Zeus.
What Zeus won't touch
He doesn't write code: custom widgets and custom CSS are made in the Widget Builder or Dev Mode. (Embed code you paste is different, see Embed code above.) He also leaves form recipients for you to set in Manage Form > Emails.
Credits
Every plan includes a number of Zeus messages each month:
- Starter: 50 messages a month. Free trials are on Starter, so a trial gets 50 too.
- Growth: 150 messages a month.
- Agency: 450 messages a month.
The count is shared by your whole agency team, across every site. It resets with your plan's credit cycle (the same day your monthly credits renew), not on the 1st of the month. Under the chat box you'll see how many are left, for example "38 of 50 included Zeus messages left this month". Once they're gone it says "Included Zeus messages used this month — changes use credits".
After the included messages are used:
- Questions and answers that change nothing stay free. That includes "How do I…" answers.
- A change waits for you. Zeus works out the change first, then shows a card: "Your Growth plan's included Zeus messages for this month are used. This change will use 1 credit — confirm to apply it." Nothing is charged until you click Confirm. If you don't confirm within 30 minutes, the change is dropped and nothing is charged.
- One change costs 1 credit (Zeus editor change: an edit, adding a widget, building a section).
- Building or rebuilding a whole page costs 2 credits (Zeus editor page build).
- If nothing gets built, the credits go back.
Zeus images always cost 1 credit each (Zeus image), even while you still have included messages. Your own photos and videos never cost anything.
Translating a whole page in another language costs 1 credit per regular page. Popups and the 404 page are free.
A message that fails (Zeus couldn't answer) is given back and doesn't count against your included messages.
Other Zeus tools in the editor (free)
- Text toolbar > Zeus: Write a title or paragraph, or Rewrite to Improve, make it Shorter or Longer, Change tone or Fix grammar. Then compare and choose Use this text or Try again.
- Add Section > Zeus-generated: Zeus fills a layout with words for this page.
- Section toolbar > More > Redo this section with Zeus: choose New design or New words. A redo keeps every card or item the section has (all five services stay five). If the new design can't hold them all, Zeus leaves the section as it was and tells you which ones would have gone.
These three tools are free and don't use your included Zeus messages.
Examples
- A plumber's homepage, quick fixes: "Make the hero text shorter and add a Call now button under it." One message, one Undo step.
- A roofer's new page: "Make a new landing page for roof repair arcata." Zeus shows a plan card with the steps and the cost. Click Approve and build and the page appears section by section.
- A bakery's photos: attach six photos to the chat, then "Use these as a slideshow behind the hero." They go into the site's media library first.
- A salon running out of messages late in the month: "Change the pricing cards to Cut $45, Color $90." Zeus shows the change with "This change will use 1 credit". Click Confirm to apply it.
Limits and what it can't do
- One message can be up to 2,000 characters.
- Up to 6 files per attach. Photos: JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, AVIF, SVG or HEIC, up to 10 MB (HEIC and larger photos are converted first). Videos: MP4, WebM or OGG, up to 50 MB.
- Up to 12 chat messages a minute per agency. The text toolbar's Zeus allows 30 a minute, and Zeus-generated sections 10 a minute.
- Zeus works on the page that's open. To change another page, open it (or ask Zeus, and he opens it first).
- He never writes code, testimonials, reviews, prices or facts he doesn't have.
- He doesn't set form recipients, publish the site, or change your domain.
- Deleting a page can't be undone.
Who can use it
Agency team members with the Mount Olympus tool. The Zeus chat button also needs the Zeus tool: if it's switched off for you, the button doesn't show. Zeus is agency-only: client people never see the Zeus button, the text toolbar's Zeus, Zeus-generated sections or Redo this section, whatever permissions they have. If a client account tries, it gets "Zeus is only available to your agency".
Troubleshooting
- Zeus is switched off for your account. Ask your agency owner to turn it on.: your Zeus tool is switched off. An Owner or Admin can turn it back on under Tools on your row in Settings → Team Members.
- "You're going too fast — try again in …": your agency sent more than 12 messages in a minute. Wait the time shown.
- "That confirmation has expired — ask Zeus again" or "That change has expired or was already applied — ask Zeus again": the Confirm card is too old (over 30 minutes for a paid change), or it was already clicked. Ask again.
- "Open the page Zeus was changing, then ask again": you switched pages before clicking Confirm. Go back to that page and ask again.
- "That needs N credits and you have M. Buy credits": your balance is too low for the change or images. Click Buy credits (it opens Billing in a new tab), then click Confirm again.
- "There are no photos on this page to replace": you asked for new images for every photo, but the page has none. Add an Image widget or a background photo first.
- "Zeus couldn't do that just now — try again": something went wrong on our side. Nothing was charged and the message doesn't count. Try again in a moment.
- "Open a page first": the chat needs a page open. Pick one from the page switcher.
- An attachment shows "Videos can be up to 50 MB." or "Attach a photo (JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, AVIF, SVG, HEIC) or a video (MP4, WebM, OGG).": the file is too big or the wrong type. Shrink or convert it and attach it again.
- "I didn't change anything — tell me what you'd like different.": Zeus couldn't tell what to change. Be specific: name the section ("the second section", "the FAQ") or select it first.
- Zeus is still working after I closed the tab: that's expected. Open the same page again and he carries on.
- My edit and Zeus's clashed: your version is kept. Click Retry on his reply to use his.
- I don't see the "messages left" line: your agency has unlimited messages, or credits aren't switched on for your account yet.
