Image Generation makes original images for a client's website or social media. Zeus follows the client's Directions for Images (for example "No people in images"), so you don't have to repeat them every time.
How to create an image
- Open Content → Image Generation in the sidebar.
- Choose the client under Business Name.
- Pick the Image Type: Website, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X or YouTube.
- Pick the Image Size. The list changes with the type (see below).
- Under Describe the image you want to generate, write what you want to see. A counter shows how many of the 500 characters you've used.
- Click Generate Image. The cost is shown on the button before you start.
The image appears on the right with its Size, Generation Time and the alt text Zeus wrote for it. Click Download Image to save it.

Set the client's image directions
Image directions live on the client, so they apply to every image Zeus makes for them, here and in the Content Generator.
- Open the client and go to Client → Settings.
- Open Generation Directions.
- Type your rules in Directions for Images, for example "No people in images. Use outdoor settings only. Avoid dark backgrounds."
- Click Save Changes.
Changing an image
Under the image, type what should change in What should change? (optional, up to 300 characters, for example "make it sunnier") and click Regenerate. Leave the box empty to get a fresh variation of the same idea. Earlier versions are listed underneath. Click one to go back to it. Going back is free.
Past images
Every image is saved. Click the Past images tab at the top of Image Generation to see them all. Search by description (Search by description...), or filter by All Businesses and All Image Types. Each image has a Download button and a trash button to delete it (you're asked "Are you sure you want to delete this image?" first). Click Create to make a new one.
Examples
- A plumber's homepage banner: Website → Hero/Banner, "A clean modern bathroom with a new chrome faucet, bright natural light."
- A YouTube thumbnail for a how-to video: YouTube → Thumbnail, "Close-up of hands cleaning a gutter on a sunny day."
- An Instagram story for a landscaper: Instagram → Story/Reel, "A freshly mowed lawn with neat flower beds at golden hour."
Limits and what it can't do
- Descriptions are up to 500 characters. Change requests are up to 300.
- Zeus images don't include readable words or logos. Add text in the editor or a design tool afterwards.
- Images aren't added to a site automatically. Download the image and upload it in the editor's media library.
- Images for blogs, service pages and social posts can also be made inside the Content Generator.
Credits
Each new image and each Regenerate costs one Zeus image (1 credit). Going back to an earlier version, downloading and deleting are free. If an image can't be made, nothing is charged.
Who can use it
Anyone in your agency with the Image Generation tool. Clients can't use it from their portal.
Troubleshooting
- "Not enough credits. Buy credits to continue." (or "… needs 1 credit — you have 0"): top up in Billing & credits.
- "Missing required fields": pick a client and write a description first.
- "Image generated but failed to save to database. Please try again.": the image was made but couldn't be stored. Try again; you aren't charged for a failed save.
- "Tool access required": you don't have the Image Generation tool. Ask your agency owner.
- The image ignores the client's rules: check Client → Settings → Generation Directions → Directions for Images is filled in and saved. Directions you add later apply to new images only.
