AI Visibility tells you whether the assistants name a client. The accuracy check tells you whether what they say is right. A customer who gets the wrong phone number or hours from an assistant never reaches the business, so wrong details are worth fixing first.
It runs on its own as part of every AI Visibility check (every 14 days, hosted clients with checks on). There's nothing to switch on and it's free.
What it checks
From the answers the check already collected, Zeus lists every detail an answer gives about the client:
- Hours
- Towns served
- Services
- Prices
- Phone
- Address
- Years in business
- Rating
Each detail is compared with the client's Business Info (the client's Details) and the website. Every detail gets one of three results:
- Doesn't match: Business Info clearly says something else. For example, the answer gives (918) 555-0199 and Business Info has (918) 555-0100.
- Matches: Business Info or the website says the same.
- Can't confirm: there's nothing on file to compare it with, or the answer is too loose to check.
A detail is never marked wrong unless Business Info clearly contradicts it. A few rules keep it fair:
- A town or service that simply isn't listed in Business Info stays Can't confirm. Lists are often incomplete. Only "doesn't serve Jenks" when Jenks is a service area counts as wrong.
- Prices are always Can't confirm unless the website shows the same price. Business Info has no prices.
- Hours are compared only when Business Info's hours can be read day by day. "Mon–Fri" with "8am–5pm" works; "8-5" or "by appointment" can't be checked.
- Ratings are compared only for Google, with the client's own Google rating.
Reading the card
Open SEO → AI Visibility and find What AI assistants say about you, under the competitors table.
- Wrong details come first. Each shows the assistants that said it, the exact quote, The answer says, On file (the right value) and Likely from.
- Likely from is where the wrong detail probably comes from: a directory listing that shows the same wrong value (from the client's Citations), the Google Business Profile, a page on the client's own website, or a site the answer cited.
- Fix says what to update, such as "Update the phone number on Yelp to (918) 555-0100."
- Can't confirm and Matches open below with the quote and the reason.
When a flagged detail is actually right
Sometimes the business info is incomplete and the answer is right, such as a second phone line. Click It's actually right under the detail. It moves to Matches ("Your team marked this as right."), the Zeus finding goes away, and it's never flagged again for this client. If an answer later gives a different value, that one is checked as usual. To take it back, open Matches and click Undo. Only your agency team sees these buttons; it works the same in the phone app.
If the business info itself is out of date, update the client's Details first. Every answer is compared with it.
In Zeus
Each wrong detail becomes a Zeus finding labeled Answer Accuracy, with the quote, the right value and the fix as its first step. Phone, hours, address, towns and services are a decree, because customers act on them. Years in business and rating are an omen. Can't confirm details never become findings. See Edicts, decrees and omens.
Control questions
Every check also asks two questions that never change, shown in Control questions:
- Brand question: "What can you tell me about [business] in [town]?" The assistants should always name the client here.
- General question: the same "Which [category] businesses would you recommend in [town]?" every check.
They're not counted in the AI visibility score or Your prompts. Use them to read the trend: if the brand question suddenly drops, the assistant changed, not the client's website. The Over time column shows each check, such as "Oct 1: 4/4". The brand question's answer is also read by the accuracy check, since that's where assistants say the most about a business.
Examples
- Old phone number: ChatGPT and Perplexity give a number the business stopped using. Likely from shows Yelp, whose listing still has it. Update the Yelp listing, then the next check shows whether the answers changed.
- Outdated years: an answer says "over 10 years in business", but Business Info says founded in 2005. Likely from points to the About page, which still says "10 years".
- Noise, not a drop: the score fell 10 points, but the brand question also fell on every assistant at the same check. The assistants changed; nothing on the site did.
Limits and what it can't do
- It only reads the part of each answer AI Visibility keeps. It doesn't ask the assistants extra questions.
- Only answers that named the client are checked.
- The first check after 2026-10-27 is the first one with accuracy and control questions. Older checks show neither.
- The fix is yours to make. Zeus doesn't change listings or pages for you.

Who can use it
Agency team members with the Clients tool see everything, including the fix lines. Client people who can see AI Visibility (in the portal or the Site Dashboard) see the wrong details, the right value and where it likely comes from, without the fix lines. The monthly email says how many details don't match and how the control questions did.
Troubleshooting
- "The accuracy check wasn't available for this check.": the check was saved without it. The next check runs it again.
- "No answer named the business, so there was nothing to check.": the assistants didn't name the client in this check. Nothing could be read.
- A detail shows Can't confirm but you know it's wrong: add the right value to the client's Details (for example the hours as days plus times, or the founding year). The next check compares with it.
- A detail shows Doesn't match but it's right: if Business Info is out of date, update the client's Details. If Business Info is right too (both values are true), click It's actually right.
- "Run the migration 20261028630000_ai_accuracy_accepted.sql first.": the database update for It's actually right hasn't been applied yet. Contact support.
- No Control questions card: the client needs a business name, plus a category and city for the general question, in Business Info.
