Three widgets in the Business group of the Add panel list things that change often. Restaurant Menu shows categories, dishes and prices. Events shows event cards with search, category filters and dates. Google Calendar shows a public calendar as a month grid or an upcoming list.
Each Design panel ends with Spacing and Animations & Effects, explained in Widget design panel basics and Animations and effects. Text sections use the standard text controls explained there.
When Zeus fills a template, these three take the client's menu, events and calendar ID from Business extras on the client's details. See Fill a template with Zeus and Add a client.
Restaurant Menu
How to add it
- Click Add, open Business, and drag Restaurant Menu onto the page.
- Click Edit Menu.
- Add categories and items, or upload a CSV file. Click Save.
Edit Menu
- Title and Show: default "Menu", shown.
- Currency: $ USD (default), $ CAD, $ AUD, € EUR, £ GBP, ¥ JPY, $ MXN, or No symbol.
- Show images: a small photo beside each item. On by default.
- Categories on phones: All open (default), Only the first open or One open at a time.
- Categories: the list on the left. Reorder with Move up and Move down, and add with + Add Category.
- Upload CSV (replaces the menu): rows of Category, Item, Description, Price. A header row starting with "Category" is skipped. Items with the same category are grouped. It replaces everything in the menu.
- For the selected category: Category name and Delete category. Each item has a photo, Item name, Price and Description, with Move up, Move down and Delete item. Add more with + Add item.
Layout
- Number of columns: 1 to 4, per screen size. Default 2 desktop, 1 phone.
- Space between items: up to 60 px, per screen size. Default 24.
- Divider under each item: on by default.

The menu is added to the page as Menu structured data, so search engines can read the dishes and prices.
Events
Event cards with a date, title, description, location, photo and button. Typed in or from a collection, with a search box, category buttons and an optional date-range filter.
How to add it
- Drag Events from Business onto the page. It starts with three sample events.
- Click Manage Events.
- Choose Manual events or From a collection, add your events, and click Done.
Manage Events
For each event:
- Title.
- Date (and time): like "2026-10-05 18:00". A date alone works too.
- Ends (optional): like "2026-10-05 21:00".
- Category: used by the category filter buttons.
- Location and Description.
- A photo with Focal point.
- Link this event, and Show button with Button text (default "Learn More").
With From a collection, pick the collection and match its fields. Collection events link to their own dynamic page. See Collections and dynamic pages.
Layout
- Section title (leave empty to hide): default "Upcoming Events".
- Grid (default) or List.
- Columns: 1 to 4, per screen size. Grid only. Default 3 desktop, 2 tablet, 1 phone.

Events are added to the page as Event structured data.
Google Calendar
Shows any public calendar: Google, Outlook or Apple. It reads the calendar's public iCal address, so no Google sign-in is needed. The live site fetches the calendar on the server and refreshes it every 30 minutes, and the events are part of the page.
How to add it
- In Google Calendar, open Settings, pick the calendar, turn on Make available to public, and copy Public address in iCal format. Outlook and Apple calendars have a similar published or subscribe link.
- In the editor, drag Google Calendar from Business onto the page.
- Click Edit Calendar and paste the address into Calendar's public iCal address. You can also paste the calendar ID or the embed code link.
- Click Save.
Edit Calendar
- Calendar's public iCal address: like https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/…/public/basic.ics.
- Title (optional).
- Month calendar (default) or Upcoming list.
- Week starts Monday (default) or Week starts Sunday (Month calendar).
- Events to show: 1 to 50 (Upcoming list). Default 8.
- 24-hour times: off by default.
- Time zone (optional): a time zone name like America/Chicago. Blank uses the calendar's own.
Calendar
- Today: the color that marks today. Default red.
- Events: the event color.
- Day background: default light gray.
Header - month & title and Text
Both start closed. Text controls for the month name and title (up to 40 px, default 20 bold) and everything else (up to 24 px, default 14).
Examples
- A bistro: Restaurant Menu uploaded from the owner's spreadsheet, two columns, with One open at a time on phones.
- A yoga studio: Events from a Classes collection with category buttons for Beginner and Advanced, past events hidden.
- A church: Google Calendar as an Upcoming list of the next 10 events, in 24-hour time.
Limits and what it can't do
- The menu's CSV upload replaces the whole menu. It reads 4 columns: Category, Item, Description, Price.
- Restaurant Menu can't take orders or bookings. For bookings, see the OpenTable button in Button widgets.
- Events doesn't sell tickets or take sign-ups. Use the event button to link to a booking page or form.
- Google Calendar shows public calendars only, read-only. Visitors can't add events. Changes in the calendar show on the live site within about 30 minutes.
- Until a calendar address is set, it shows sample events.
- None of these can be connected with Connect to Data. Events reads from a collection through From a collection instead.
Who can use it
Anyone with the Mount Olympus tool. Client people need Editor to add these widgets or change their design, and Widget content to change the menu, events or calendar address.
Troubleshooting
- "No items found — the CSV needs rows of Category, Item, Description, Price.": check the file has those four columns in that order and isn't empty.
- "Add a category to start.": the menu has no categories. Click + Add Category or upload a CSV.
- An event doesn't show: it may be in the past with Hide past events on, or its Date (and time) isn't a real date. Use the form 2026-10-05 18:00.
- No category buttons: turn on Category filter buttons, and give events a Category.
- "Sample events — add your calendar's public iCal address in Edit Calendar.": no address yet.
- "Calendar not found — is it public?": turn on Make available to public in the calendar's settings, and use the public iCal address, not the private one.
- "That link isn't an iCal calendar": you pasted the calendar's web page. Copy Public address in iCal format instead.
- "Enter the calendar's public iCal address (https://…)": the address must start with https://.
- "Couldn't reach the calendar": the calendar's server didn't answer. Try again later.
- "Not a time zone name (e.g. America/Chicago) — the calendar's own is used.": fix the spelling in Time zone (optional), or leave it blank.
- A new event isn't on the live site yet: the live site refreshes the calendar every 30 minutes.
