On top of rankings and site checks, Zeus runs a few programs that turn into findings on the client's Zeus tab. All of them are free. Most need the client's monthly scan switched on.
How to switch them on
- Open the client and go to Zeus. Click Settings and tick Auto-scan monthly. This turns on competitor watch, seasons and (for weather-driven trades) weather alerts.
- For AI search questions, the client needs a website hosted with you and AI Visibility turned on (see AI Visibility).
- For weather alert emails, make sure your agency's Contact Email is set in Settings → Profile.
AI search questions
For hosted clients with AI Visibility turned on, Zeus keeps 10 fixed questions a customer might ask an AI assistant about the client's services and town. Each check asks 5 of them, alternating, every 14 days, so every question is asked about once a month in ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews.
On SEO → AI Visibility you'll see Each question over time, Recommended instead (businesses and sites the assistants named) and Why a competitor was named. That last one comes from the sources the answers cited and tells you what to do about it. Gaps become findings on the Zeus tab, such as AI assistants not naming the client or the sites AI answers cite not listing it.
Entity check
Zeus compares the business's name, phone, town, website, schema and social profiles across the client record, the Google Business Profile, the Mount Olympus site's Business Info and the citations. Any mismatch becomes an Entity Check finding.
Competitor watch
Each month Zeus compares the top 3 map pack competitors' Google Business Profiles with last month. Findings labeled New Competitor or Competitor Watch flag a new face in the top 3, a category change, a burst of reviews, a rating change, new photos, regular posting or a changed website, with what to do about each.
Seasons
Zeus knows when demand for the client's services climbs, from 12 months of search volume or the industry's usual busy months. About 4 to 6 weeks before the rise you'll get a Season Ahead finding (for example "Searches climb 40% into June — start 5 weeks ahead with posts and page updates") and a seasonal post draft. In the client's quiet months, a dip in traffic is treated as less urgent.
Weather alerts
Zeus checks US National Weather Service warnings for the client's area every 3 hours. Only warnings count; watches and advisories are too frequent.
Which clients: active clients with Auto-scan monthly on, in a trade that gets emergency work from weather:
- Roofing: hail, severe storms, tornado, high wind, hurricane or tropical storm, winter or ice storm
- Restoration: flood, severe storms, hurricane, hard freeze, tornado
- Plumbing: hard freeze, flood
- HVAC: extreme heat, hard freeze
- Electrician: severe storms, high wind, hurricane
- Tree service: high wind, severe storms, tornado, hurricane, winter or ice storm
Which warnings: Tornado; Severe Thunderstorm (hail of 1 inch or more counts as hail); High Wind and Extreme Wind; Hard Freeze, Freeze, Extreme Cold and Wind Chill; Excessive Heat and Extreme Heat; Flash Flood and Flood; Winter Storm, Ice Storm and Blizzard; Hurricane, Tropical Storm and Storm Surge.
Where: Zeus uses the address pin from the client's Mount Olympus site Business Info, otherwise the Zeus map scan center (the Google listing pin), otherwise the client's city.
When a warning hits, you get:
- a Weather Alert Edict on the client's Zeus tab (approve the emergency post, push the emergency page, check click-to-call and hours), which also shows in Zeus Edicts under Needs your attention on your Dashboard
- a Zeus weather alert notification in the bell that opens the drafts
- an emergency Google Business Profile post in Zeus drafts for approval. It's never posted on its own
- an email to your agency's Contact Email (Settings → Profile), branded with your agency, with a link to the drafts
One event alerts once. An update of the same warning, another area's copy of it, or the same kind of weather within 72 hours counts as the same event. Active warnings for the client's area also show at the top of the Zeus drafts panel.
Learning across clients
When there's enough history from similar businesses, Why it matters on a finding may say how this kind of fix has worked for others in the same industry.
Examples
- A roofer in Texas: a Severe Thunderstorm Warning with 1.75-inch hail comes in at 4 pm. By 7 pm there's a Weather Alert Edict, a "hail damage roof inspections" post draft, and an email in your inbox. You approve the post and add a banner linking the emergency page.
- A plumber in Minnesota: a Hard Freeze Warning brings a "frozen and burst pipes" post draft. The same freeze warning updated the next day doesn't alert again.
- An HVAC company in May: a Season Ahead finding says AC searches rise into June, with a seasonal post draft ready.
- A dentist: no weather alerts, because dentistry isn't a weather-driven trade.
Limits and what it can't do
- Weather alerts are US only. Clients outside the US don't get them.
- Only the trades above get weather alerts.
- Weather alerts, competitor watch and seasons need Auto-scan monthly on.
- AI search questions need a website hosted with you and AI Visibility on.
- Emergency posts are drafts. Nothing is posted until you approve it.
- The weather email goes to one address, your agency's Contact Email. It isn't sent to client people.
Credits
All of these programs are free. Emergency and seasonal post drafts are free too.
Who can use it
Anyone on your agency team with the Clients tool sees these findings and drafts on the client's Zeus tab. The Dashboard's Zeus Edicts group needs the Zeus tool. Client people don't see findings or drafts.
Troubleshooting
- No weather alerts for a roofer after a big storm: check Auto-scan monthly is on, the client is active, the client's trade is one of the trades above, and the business is in the US. Only warnings count, not watches.
- The alert is for the wrong area: set the address in the site's Business Info, or set the scan center in map scan settings.
- I didn't get the weather email: set Contact Email in Settings → Profile. The finding and the draft still appear on the Zeus tab without it.
- No AI search findings: the client's website must be hosted with you and AI Visibility turned on. See AI Visibility.
- No Season Ahead finding: Zeus needs 12 months of search volume for the client's keywords, or a trade with known busy months.
