Settings → Shipping → Countries and customs.
- Ship to: the US only, countries you choose, or everywhere we're allowed to ship. Put each country in a zone so checkout can offer it a price.
- Never offered: places under US sanctions (Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk). No store can ship there, and an address that resolves there is refused at checkout and at label time.
- Customs defaults: the contents (merchandise by default), what happens if a parcel can't be delivered, and who signs customs forms.
- Import duties and taxes: The customer pays on delivery (DDU) by default, and checkout tells them so; or We pay the duties (DDP), only on DHL Express, UPS and FedEx, where the carrier bills you afterwards.
On each product
Products → a product → Customs: a plain description, the HS code, the country of origin and the customs value. The order's Ship card fills the customs form from these, and asks for the missing HS codes. Above $2,500 per tariff number, it asks for an ITN export filing number.
At checkout
International shoppers choose their country first and get an address form shaped for it (postcode, county or province, field order). A phone number is required. Prices are charged in the business's currency, with the currency code shown.
