The Store lives in the business app (The Pantheon), in its own Store section of the top bar: Overview, Orders, Products, Collections & categories, Inventory and Discounts. The editor calls it Online Store.
Turn it on
- Business app → Settings → Store. Under Basics → Sites with the store, switch on the site that should sell.
- Settings → Shipping → Setup: add a ship-from location (its address goes on labels) and the boxes you pack in.
- Settings → Shipping → Zones and rates: add the places you ship to and the options customers pick from (flat, free over an amount, local pickup, live carrier rates).
- Settings → Tax: choose Stripe Tax, one of your own rates, or no tax.
- Settings → Payment providers: check how cards are taken.
Then add products (Store → Products) and put a Product Grid on a page in the editor.
Checkout settings
Settings → Store → Checkout: guest checkout (on by default), the unticked "Create an account" box, asking for a phone number on home orders (always asked abroad), the order notes field, and the wording of the "Email me news and offers" box.
Good to know
- The store belongs to the business: one product list, one stock count and one set of orders for all of its sites.
- There's no fee from us on sales. Each payment provider charges its own fees on the business's own account.
