On a Send an email or Send a text step (and, from the social steps, Reply to their Facebook or Instagram message), choose Written by Zeus. Instead of everyone getting the same message, each person gets their own, written for them at the moment it sends.
Set it up
- Brief for Zeus: what each message should say ("Thank them for their last job and invite them to leave a Google review. Warm and short, from Marcus").
- Tone and Length (emails: short or medium; texts: 1 text or up to 2).
- What Zeus may use about the person: first name, city, their owner on your team, tags, last invoice (what and when), last booking. Only what you tick — never notes, other conversations or fields you didn't tick.
- Links Zeus may add: the only links he can put in (for example your Google review link). Any other link fails the checks.
- When it's written: Send it by itself, or Draft for a person to approve — the message waits in the person's Conversation for someone on the team to check and send ("Written by Zeus"), and whoever looks after them gets a bell.
- Fallback (required): the email or text that goes out when Zeus can't write one safely, or the usage balance can't pay. The step can't be published without it.
The checks
Before anything goes, Zeus's message is checked: no prices, discounts, percentages, dates or promises that aren't in your brief or the person's details; no links but the allowed ones; and it fits the length (texts: the number of texts). If it fails, Zeus tries once more; if it fails again, the fallback goes out. The unsubscribe link, your postal address and "Reply STOP to opt out" are added by the app, never by Zeus. Every time the fallback goes, the run shows why (the checks failed, Zeus couldn't be reached, paid usage is paused, or the monthly limit for messages Zeus writes is reached).
Preview with a contact
Preview with a contact shows what Zeus would write for 3 real contacts side by side, with "Passed the checks" or the fallback they'd get and why. Nothing is sent. 3 other contacts tries different people. The first 10 previews a day for each business are free ("7 of 10 free previews left today"); after that each preview costs the same as a written message. Test runs use the same allowance.
What it costs
Each message Zeus writes is charged per message from the usage balance, shown next to the sending cost on the step ("Sending: $0.001 per email · Zeus writing: $0.004 per message"). No credits. It follows the business's usage billing like sending does (included, rebilled at cost, or with your markup), and the agency can set a monthly limit for it. A fallback isn't charged for writing, and a retried step never charges twice. Client people see their own price, never the agency's cost.
