Saved views for contacts and opportunities

Save the filters, sort and columns you use often, as a board or a list, just for you or shared with the business. Make one the default for a pipeline, let everyone edit it, or duplicate it.

Updated October 17, 2026

A saved view keeps a set of filters under a name, with the sort and the columns. Contacts have them (also called smart lists), and so do opportunities: set the filters, then Save as a view. Pick one from Saved view to open it; saving changes to an open view offers Save as a new view instead.

What a view keeps

  • Filters: everything the list can filter by, including relative dates ("created in the last 7 days");
  • Sort, and the columns shown in the list;
  • for opportunities, board or list, and one pipeline or all of them.

Just me or shared

  • Just me: only you see it.
  • Share with the whole team: everyone in the business sees it. Only owners and managers can share views (for anyone else a new view is just for them). A shared view is changed by owners, managers and whoever made it, or by everyone when Everyone can change it is ticked.

Each view shows who made it.

Default per pipeline

Tick Open this pipeline with it on an opportunities view, and the pipeline opens with that view.

Duplicate

Duplicate makes your own copy of any view you can see, to change without touching the original.

Views as audiences

The filters of a view are exactly the list's filters, so you can add everyone in a shared view to an automation (Add people → A smart list).
