Tick some contacts or opportunities (Select all on this page ticks the page), then Select all N matching to take everything the current filters show (up to 50,000), and pick a change.
What you can change
- Opportunities: Move to stage (in this or another pipeline), Change status (won, lost with a reason, abandoned, open), Change owner, Set value, Set source, Set close date, custom fields, Add tags, Remove tags, Follow, Stop following, Delete them.
- Contacts: add or remove tags, assign an owner, follow, add to a company, delete.
Who may
The same as one at a time, checked when you start it: your pipeline access, Only contacts assigned to them, and switches like Can't delete opportunities. Records you can't change are skipped and counted, including every opportunity in a pipeline where you only have View access.
In the background
A bulk change runs in the background in batches: It runs in the background — you can keep working. Undo is there for 30 days. You can close the page. Bulk changes shows each one's progress and result (changed, skipped, couldn't be changed), and you get a bell when it's done. Every changed record gets its usual Activity history entry.
Undo
Each record's values are saved before it's changed. Undo (for 30 days) puts every one back, also in the background. Deleted records come back the same way.
