The ContentForge app (iPhone and Android)

ContentForge on your phone (coming soon): the dashboard, the whole client page, Zeus, Edicts, the Content Generator, the SEO tools, site builds, Zeus site changes and notifications; for staff, the support desk and Agora.

Updated October 25, 2026

Coming soon: the ContentForge app is being built for iPhone and Android, with the same features on both. It isn't in the App Store or Google Play yet. This article explains how it will work.

What it is

One free app, listed as ContentForge, for agencies and ContentForge staff. You sign in with the same email and password as the web (or a sign-in link by email), and you see what you can use on the web — the same tools, the same clients, the same permissions. Nothing is set up twice, and every change you make on the phone is the same change on the web.

It's separate from the Business Hub app, which is the white-label app your clients use for the business app (see The Business Hub app). Your clients' portal people can't use the ContentForge app: if they try, it tells them to use their portal (and Business Hub, when your agency has it).

What you can do on the phone

The bottom bar is built from what you can use on the web: Home · Clients · Sites · Zeus · More.

  • Home: what needs your attention, Zeus's summary of Edicts and Decrees, the credits you have left, your site imports and Create with Zeus builds with their progress, and recent work.
  • Clients: your clients (team members see the clients they're assigned to), with search. A client's screen shows the site's status and live link, calls and leads, average Google position, Google reviews, work done this month, and buttons to call or email the client contact. From it you do what you do on the web's client page, in the same groups: Zeus (Enable free monthly scans for a client that isn't set up — free — or Summon Zeus), Edicts and Decrees, approvals, Google reviews, reports and a new SEO audit; Details and Media; Rank tracking, Bad links, a Competitor analysis and AI Visibility; the Business Profile check, Map scans and Citations; the Content strategy and blog, the Content Generator, Social and Press Releases; Analytics and Google Ads (see below). Settings, Redirects, Links, Schema and Competitors open that part of the client page inside the app.
  • Edicts, Decrees and Omens: what Zeus found, why it matters and the fix. Apply marks it done the same way as the web, Dismiss asks for a reason, and Write it for me opens the Content Generator on the phone, ready filled in (see Edicts, Decrees and Omens).
  • Approvals: what clients answered and what's still waiting; Approve for the client, Send again and Take back, then post or publish the approved item.
  • Google reviews: unanswered and all reviews, reply or edit a reply, Zeus's draft reply, and Send for approval when client approval is on.
  • Reports: past SEO audits, each opening the full report on the phone, and Share link (copy it, send it with the phone's share sheet, choose how long it works, make a new link or turn it off).
  • Zeus: the same chat as the dashboard. Paid or changing actions show a card first and wait for you.
  • More: everything else from your web menu. Those pages open inside the app, already signed in, in a phone layout.

SEO tools on your phone

More → SEO Tools and each client's screen open these on the phone. They are the web's own tools: the same results, the same credits, the same history (a scan you start on the phone is in Past scans on the web, and the other way round).

  • Local Map Ranking: pick the business (by name and city, or paste a Google Maps link), up to 5 keywords, the grid size and the radius, then Ask Zeus to Surveil the Region. From a client's screen the scan starts with the client's city and services. Watch it run, then see the average, best and worst rank, how many areas you rank in, and the grid of pins on the map — tap a pin to see who ranks there (and Track this competitor). Download PDF report sends the PDF through the phone's share sheet. Compare with an earlier scan shows how each keyword and each point moved since an earlier scan of the same business.
  • Local SEO Audit: the website, the business name and the details the web asks for, then Summon Your SEO Audit. The report shows on the phone: the score, the section scores, the top priorities and quick wins, every check, local competitors, every fix in order and the 30-day plan. Share link and Download PDF are on the report.
  • Keyword Forge: a keyword and a location (or a website — Zeus reads it): the Forge Score, searches a month, CPC, difficulty and the related keywords. Track for a client adds a keyword to that client's rank tracking; Zeus ideas suggests blog posts for it.
  • Backlink Analysis: a domain's backlinks, referring domains (with how risky each looks) and broken links. A client's bad links shows Zeus's last check, the disavow list and Share the disavow file (to send it or save it to Files, ready for Google's disavow tool).
  • Competitor Analysis: your client and the competitor; the keyword, location and content gaps and the profile, backlink and technical comparisons, and the PDF.
  • For a client: the Business Profile check with Apply (see what's on Google now and after the change, tick to confirm, apply — or send it for the client's approval when they approve these first), Rank tracking (positions, Track Rankings, add keywords, Sync from Search Console), Citations (listings and their status, Run Citation Audit) and the Content strategy (Suggest ideas with Zeus, add or dismiss them, and the blog's posts).

Credits: the price shows on the button before you run anything (for example Ask Zeus to Surveil the Region · 2 credits), with the credits you have. If you don't have enough, the app says so before anything runs: "Add credits on the web in Billing & credits". Free things — checking rankings, the profile check, Zeus's keyword ideas, the disavow file — show no price. You can leave a running scan, audit or analysis: the app tells you when it's ready.

The rest of the client page on your phone

The same tools as the web's client page, with the same credits (the price is on the button) and the same approvals.

  • Details: edit the business info, messaging, about, social links, services and service areas, contact details and status. As soon as you change something, a bar at the bottom says Unsaved changes with Discard and Save changes; it goes away once saved, and a short message says Changes saved (or what's wrong). If you leave with unsaved changes, the app asks whether to keep editing, discard or save. The logo, photos and business extras open the web page inside the app.
  • Media: the client upload link (copy it, share it or make a new one), every photo by category and folder with what's new since you last looked, and the client's videos. Tap Select to move photos to a folder, delete them or send them to the client's Mount Olympus site; tap a photo to see it full size, save it to your phone or remove it. Upload photos takes a photo or picks them from your library (they're made smaller first) and puts them in Client Uploads or a folder; Upload videos sends videos from your phone. Tap a video to play it, rename it, describe it, move it or delete it.
  • Analytics: the client's Google Analytics and Search Console numbers. Pick the period (Today to Last 90 days, or Custom), switch between Traffic Overview and Search Performance, tap the traffic chart for a day's numbers, and sort the lists. Download PDF sends the report through the phone's share sheet.
  • Google Ads: the client's campaigns, their numbers for the period you pick, settings, search terms, ads and assets. Zeus's Ads Review shows what's wasting money and what to add; tick the fixes and Apply selected (the app lists each change first, and most can be undone in Changes applied). In Search Terms, Add as negative blocks a search that doesn't fit, and warns you if it would also block one of your keywords. Build a campaign with Zeus continues on a computer: the app emails you the link.
  • Content Generator (also in More → Content): website copy for a service or service area page, landing pages, blog articles (by hand or from the content strategy), blog strategy documents, press releases and social posts. Read the result, ask Zeus for changes, copy or download it, Send to Website as a draft (blog posts can be published straight away) and make social posts from it. Write it for me on an Edict and Write it on a content strategy item open it already filled in. Past content opens the web page inside the app.
  • Social: the posts as a list, a week or a month, with the network and status filters, and Zeus's packs as he writes them. Open a post to edit it, copy it, download its images, approve it (or approve it for the client), send it for approval, schedule it, post it to Google or mark it as posted. When the client's Facebook Page (or Instagram account) is connected, Publish to Facebook now (or Instagram) sends the post straight there — you see Publishing…, then On Facebook; if it doesn't go out, the reason shows with Try again. A scheduled post that's only a reminder has Publish at this time so it goes out by itself. Connecting or reconnecting Facebook is done on a computer (Social → Settings). New post writes one by hand; Make social posts asks Zeus for a pack (1 credit).
  • Press Releases: New press release — Zeus fills in the brief from the client record; add anything marked "(add it)", then Write with Zeus. On a release you can edit it, ask Zeus to rewrite it, approve it or send it for the client's approval, copy or download it, mark it as distributed, publish it to the site's newsroom and follow its results. Paid distribution is bought at checkout on a computer.
  • AI Visibility: the client's score, each assistant's results, the questions asked and who was recommended instead; switch Automatic AI Visibility checks on for clients hosted with you.
  • Image Generation (More → Content): the same image types, sizes and credits as the web. Download Image saves or shares it through the phone's share sheet; Past images lists earlier ones.

Sites from your phone

  • Create with Zeus: pick the client, the kind of site and the brief, add up to three reference addresses and screenshots from your photos, answer Zeus's questions, read the plan, ask Zeus to change it, then Approve and build. Editing the plan page by page is on a computer: the same job opens there.
  • Import a site: type the web address, pick the pages (with the languages found and the cost), and follow the progress.
  • You can close the app: the build keeps going, and a notification tells you when it needs you or is done. On a computer, Websites opens the same job where it is.
  • Ask Zeus to change the site: pick the site and page and say what you want — "change the phone number", "make the buttons orange", "swap the hero photo for this one", "add a reviews section". Small changes go straight into the draft and show before and after pictures, with Undo. Bigger ones (the whole site's look, the header or footer, adding or removing a section, a new page) show a card first and wait for Approve. Nothing goes live until you tap Publish. Zeus messages and credits follow the same rules as Zeus in the editor (see Zeus in the editor).
  • Open the editor says Continue on a computer and offers Email me the link. The template and widget builders work the same way.

Notifications on the phone

The bell's notifications arrive on your phone, sorted into groups you can switch off in the app's Settings: Approvals, Social (a post that didn't go out to Facebook or Instagram, or a Facebook page to reconnect — if you had Approvals switched off before Social had its own group, Social starts off too), Clients, Leads, Zeus, Map scans, SEO tools you ran (your own map scans, SEO audits and competitor analyses finishing — only to the person who ran them), Sites, Domain connected, Billing (only for people who can see billing) and Site builds (only for the person who started the build). Map scans (everyone's) and "domain connected" start off. Tapping one opens the right screen. Reading it on the phone reads it on the web too. The app icon's number is your unread bell items (plus, for staff, unread Agora mentions and direct messages).

Installing the app doesn't send a pile of old notifications: only ones from after the phone signed in arrive.

Signing in, Face ID and your phones

  • If you use two-step verification, the app asks for the code from your authenticator app (or a recovery code). After that it remembers your phone, so the code isn't asked every time. If your agency requires two-step verification and you haven't set it up, the app helps you set it up first.
  • The app offers Face ID or a fingerprint the first time you sign in. It locks again after 5 minutes in the background. ContentForge staff can't turn it off.
  • Settings → Phones signed in lists your phones. Sign out next to a lost phone signs it out at once (its notifications stop too), or use Sign out of every phone. Removing someone from your team signs their phones out straight away.
  • Plans and credits aren't bought in the app. When credits run out, the app says "Add credits on the web in Billing & credits".

For ContentForge staff

  • View as agency works as on the web: switching on the phone switches your computer too, and a "Viewing as …" banner shows on every screen.
  • The support desk (for staff with the support inbox): the inbox with its filters, a ticket's conversation, public replies and internal notes, the status, the assignee and Assign to me, attachments and Discuss in Agora.
  • Agora: channels, direct messages, threads, reactions, mentions, photos and files, search and mute, with its own notifications and its own bell. Agora notifications say who and where ("Diane in #support") unless you switch on Show message text in notifications in Settings.
