First turn on Memberships for the site: in the business app, Settings → Memberships → Sites. Then, in the editor:
A page
Pages → the page's ⋯ → Settings → Visibility:
- Everyone: a normal public page.
- Members only: any active member.
- Specific groups: only members of the groups you tick.
Sub-pages follow their parent page, so a members-only "Team Hub" keeps "Practice plans" under it members-only too. Locked pages show a lock in the Pages panel and stay in the menu (use hide it from the menu if you'd rather they didn't).
A section
Select a section → Show to: Everyone, Members, Specific groups, or Only people who aren't logged in (for a "Join now" banner that members never see). Hidden sections are left out of the page for those visitors, never just hidden.
A blog post
In the post's settings, choose the same Visibility. Members-only posts aren't in the blog list, the RSS feed, the sitemap or llms.txt for visitors.
What visitors see
- Not logged in: the site's log-in page with "This page is for members. Log in to see …, or join". The page isn't indexed.
- Logged in but not a member (for example a store customer): "This page is for members" with Join, Ask to join (when you approve members) or nothing to press (invite only).
- A member of the right group: the page.
Preview
The editor's View as (top bar) shows the page as a visitor, a logged-in customer, a member, or a member of a group, without logging in.
Zeus and AI assistants
Zeus in the editor can make a page or section members-only, add a "Join now" section and the Login / Account widget; it explains what visitors will see and asks you to confirm before anything is locked or unlocked. The AI assistant connection (MCP) has the same tools.
