Automation templates (built-in and your agency's)

Start from a built-in template, or save automations from your agency's own business as a template and install it into any client's business, with the pipelines, fields, tags and emails it needs.

Built-in templates

New automation → Or start from a template:

  • New lead follow-up: thank a new lead straight away, give their owner a task after a day if they haven't replied, and check in again after three days. Stops when they reply.
  • Review request: ask a customer for a review (tag them "Job done" or add them by hand), and remind them once if they don't click.
  • We miss you: reach out to a contact 90 days after their last activity, and tag them "Win-back".

Templates arrive as a draft, switched off, so you can check the emails before turning it on.

Your agency's templates

Build automations once in your agency's own business, then copy them into clients' businesses.

  1. Build and test the automations in The Pantheon, in your agency's own business.
  2. Settings → Business app templates → Save automations as a template: a name, an optional description, and Automations to include. Their pipelines, fields, tags, business values and saved emails come along.
  3. Install it: from the same page (Install into a client), or from the client → Business app → Install a template. The client's business app must be switched on.

Each install is the client's own copy. It arrives switched off, as a draft. Changing the template later doesn't change copies already installed, and the client can change their copy. Things the client already has with the same name (a "Sales" pipeline, a "VIP" tag) are reused rather than doubled.

Agency owners and admins save and install templates.
