After a rebuild, the before / after report shows the client what changed, with real measurements.
What's in it
- Fast on every phone: the old site and the new one on Google's speed test (performance, accessibility, best practices and SEO, out of 100), and how fast the pages load against Google's "good" targets.
- Built so Google understands every page: "What we found on the old site" (from its Local SEO audit and speed test) next to "What the new site does" (pages with their own search titles, one main heading per page, structured data, sitemap addresses, described images, redirects).
- New page groups: collections with a page for each item, like service or area pages.
- Accessibility before and after.
- Old addresses kept: every old address and the new page it goes to.
- Your contact details.
Every number comes from the measurements. A short write-up explains them in plain words; a sentence with a number that wasn't measured is left out.
Make one
Ask your AI assistant: "Make a before and after report for Bluestem Termite's new site; the old one was bluestemtermite.com." Or in the editor: Site dashboard → Before / after reports → Create report, and enter the old site's address. The new site must be published. It's free.
Before / after reports lists the site's reports with Preview (as the client will see it) and Share link.
Share it
The report is private until you share it. Click Share link (or ask your assistant to share it, or "share it for 30 days"). You get a link like /r/…; the dialog copies it, sets how long it works, makes a new link or turns it off, and shows how often it was viewed:
- On Growth and Agency plans it shows your agency's name, logo and colors and opens on your client domain when you have one. ContentForge isn't mentioned.
- On Starter it shows ContentForge.
- Anyone with the link can read it; it can't be edited and search engines don't list it.
- Asking for a new link turns the old one off.
Troubleshooting
- "Publish the new site first": the report measures the live site.
- "This report link is no longer active": the link was turned off or it ended. Ask for a new link.
