Everything in The Pantheon that has a usage cost is paid from one prepaid usage balance for your agency: Assistant replies, texts, calls, phone numbers, emails and the texting registration. Each use is taken from the balance at ContentForge's price the moment it happens. Open Billing & credits → Usage.
Usage balance and credits are separate
- Credits pay for ContentForge's own features (Zeus, imports, scans). They're never used for business app usage.
- The usage balance pays for business app usage, can be billed to your clients, and never expires.
They share your card, the Billing area and payment history.
Add funds
Enter an amount (from $10) and click Add funds. It's charged to the card on your plan, and the balance updates as soon as the payment goes through. Each top-up is in Payment history with its receipt.
Auto top-up
On by default: when the balance is below $10, add $50, at most 5 times a month. Change any of these, or switch it off. If the card is declined, we try once more an hour later, then tell you: "Your card was declined. Add funds or update your card."
Alerts
You (owners and admins) get a bell notification and an email when the balance falls below your alert amount (default $20), when it goes below $0, and if usage pauses.
At −$25, usage pauses
The balance can go a little below $0 so nothing stops mid-conversation. At −$25, everything with a usage cost stops for all your businesses: Assistant replies, automated and manual emails and texts, outbound calls, new numbers, and incoming calls and texts. You see: "Usage is paused — the usage balance is below −$25. Add funds to resume."
Free things keep working: booking emails, form notifications and STOP replies. Incoming texts are kept and appear as soon as funds are added; incoming calls aren't answered while paused.
Adding funds resumes everything at once: paused Assistant replies go out, kept texts arrive, and automations carry on where they stopped.
Monthly fees while usage is paused
Your phone numbers and your texting registration are kept while usage is paused (letting them go would lose them). Their monthly fees are still recorded when they come due, so they're owed: they take your balance further below −$25, and the next funds you add cover them first, before anything resumes. The banner says how much came due and the least you need to add to resume, for example "Add at least $16.01 to resume." If you add less, the funds still go towards what's owed and usage stays paused until the balance is back above −$25.
Where the money went
The Usage tab shows the period's total and change, the top client and biggest increase, totals by usage type, a 6-month chart, each client's usage, and the balance history. Download a Usage CSV or Pool history CSV.
